I just wanted to check into the community here and see if there was any maps in the works?

| Well the community did have some maps a while before. I have some maps that are in the making, never found inspiration to finish them :P
One is an Volcano map where an active volcano erupts periodically causing damage all around.
Another is a Rain map where rain causes periodic flash floods making changes of strategy

| I checked out the editor in both the original and the new expansion. Any chance of getting the editor finished / flushed out?

| A very high chance of that, but you see, its not a very enjoyable thing to do :P , to make the editor user-friendly. If you are feeling brave enough you can download the Official documentations from the site and get started. I can help you out too

| I have the documentation, and have seen the editor in the SOL update (nice work getting it improved).
But, I am happy to work with you as a QA / user validation resource if you're willing to work on the code side. I suspect that the largest challenge with getting new maps and thus getting more attention is the editor. Games that I have seen with easy to use map editors generally have very active communities.

| Thanks for your willingness to help . Its hard to find that these days :P
Well its more than just having an easily accessible editor, but yes, it certainly helps a lot. But this game has lost its community and official support over the years and since I've lost myself to other worries and my friends are now longer able to test out the mods and changes I make, the mod has been on hold too. And recently, the engine programmer had to say goodbye too and now I need to find someone C++ magician :P . So its an almost outright crippling situation for any community that might even try to gather. Don't get me wrong, there has been activity at times, and in bulk amounts too but they eventually quiet down :P .
That aside, I will try to get my lazy ass up and do some sorting out asap .

| I have checked out all the user created maps for the vanilla game - which I could find and download - and what I would really like to see are new maps made in the spirit of the original maps. The user created maps just doesn't follow the same rules of layout and standards. I like to see maps that could have been included in the original release.

I just bought this game, and was pretty disappointed to see that there are only 4-5 different maps in the skirmish mode. Just wondering where I can find more?
