how to instal and uninstall 3.5 version!!

| after installation of 3.5 , when game laods. there are no menu buttons. can anyone help. ?? or may be the installation problem. the text file with this mod doesnt say much about installation things. just said there copy and replace files (which files not mention). consider this plz. make it more elaborate so nonfamilier person can also do it easily. Thanx. and plz telll me why it dont have buttons in main menu?? thanx

| Hello Atiz and welcome to the forum, The normal installation procedure is to install the vanilla game, and patch it.
Then copy the patched version and install the mod 3.5 files in this copy.
Then right click on the engine.exe and set XP compability, run as administrator & disable desktop composition. If you still don't see anything in the menu, then its not the mod causing the problem but probably an issue on your end. In that case, kindly provide us with computer specifications ( OS,..)and a dirext X diagnostic report in order see whats going wrong. Code How to run a dxdiag:
- Go to your "START Menu"-Vista/Win7 Arch- and type: dxdiag. On Vista/Win7 it will appear in the list. Righ click on it and run as admin. On Xp go to "run" and type dxdiag.
-A "DirectX Diagnostic Tool" Window will appear. It will now scan your computer. When it's done scanning, you can view the various information it collected via the tab buttons at the top of the screen. You can save it in .txt form by clicking "Save All Information" then clicking "Save". This will prove usefull to the developers and the troubleshooters trying to help you because it will give a detailed idea of how your system is setup and which drivers are out of date or what else might be wrong.

Ah! If this is for the main menu, then it is probably because of Shader or xml error. So its either a problem with some files not being copied right or a problem with graphics or textures. Make sure you did/do the following steps right,
1) Install Game
2) Install Patch
3) Extract the .rar file with mod
4) Copy and paste these files over "HeroesOfAE/Data/" folder, replace all the existing ones
5) Fire up the game without doing anything else, to see if the problem's still there. Try a reinstall, because your game needs to be reinstalled for the mod. If you did all right and still got this problem, then it must likely be a Graphics issue. Also, can you see the background images in the menu? And do as Angel suggested.

only the buttons causing the problem.well rest of the background is ok.only buttons. last time by pressing some buttons i managed to get the game started. there also no buttons. but hero there and rest of the map was also there.
i have a cracked game type. when i ll patch it its engin.exe will not work. as i did it last time. so i need help in this regard too. sorry guys i m not gud in english as well as in computers BUT i really really love this game. Flame master can you guys creat a mod in which we could have fantsy world, alien world, robotic world, against each others ..!
is it posible. like spels vs missiles, and cripy blood sucking aliens vs dragons, and map that alive. alive in a sense where tornados, storms, underground creatures, forest monsters, erupting volcanos and blaw blaw ............... if i asked too much then guide my soul towards peace thanx!

All right I think I am getting where it is going. Take a screenshot:
Press F11 and then look for the file in "Data\Screenshots". Also give me your log.txt. Quote when i ll patch it its engin.exe will not work
Buy the game if you can afford it, or if you can find it because its already rare now. Please run the game with the same engine from the mod. Don't patch/crack it. Just use the engine.exe from the mod. I could've gone all, Illegal stuff on you, but that's not my moral, because you love the game and that's what matters. As for this, you should remember HoAE story
It was "Modern Tanks + Helicopters + robots vs Elves, Dragons and Magic". So the only way to make this happen is by making GSC release HoAE2. We must all gather players and make people come back to this game so it can be considered. . Quote like spels vs missiles

Yeah, HoAE features one of the most alive maps considering GSC strategy games. But STALKER is the main attraction on that field.
Sure these are all possible but it is difficult to implement as long as we don't find a way out for this. This will be added to my "To Do List". |  guys sorry, it was my fault. after patching it and again downloading the mod. every thing come in perfect way. BUTTTT when the map loads the game starts with gerking till the end. and realy slow. then i dont know how and why .... i did rainmeter to stay top most. and played the game with normal speed and everything was normal axept the rainmeter bar was on top. i tried it on diffrent maps same result. but thats not the issue for me. i m glad that i got the chance to have a glance at this awsome mod. hail to you guys. what i think to promote this game we should you know upload this basic game to free. ( on torrents and may be in this site we can give link to that torrent) what you say?? and yes the elves vs helicopters and missiles.......... hhmmm.......... definately with magical arrows and offcourse with flying creatures ( can be huge eagls or any kind of flying bird,) i mean by this type of worlds the game will be like huge huge veriety. which will cover a big part of any gammers mod. that what nation and what side he wants to play. Hmm...I guess its got to do with the graphics card and PC. Because, HoAE 2 engine uses different rendering mechanisms on some parts. Quote glance at this awsome mod

Not me, but GSC and they say no! Its all right the way it is though.
I think it is better if we not carry out discussions relating to torrents and cracking or reverse engineering I guess.
We are none to be hailed though. And you know very well who deserves all hails.
This is what GSC originally had in mind. But let's just say, somethings need to travel their own path to reach their destination.
