Necromancers dying

Hey everyone. I just registered recently mostly to wright about the problem I encountered.

- Installed the game + 1.1 patch
- Installed Rise of Sols 3.5 aniversary mod

While playing as Undead in skirmish mode - after several minutes of gameplay my necromancers start to die one by one (even those in mines). I figured out that they consume gold - but It did not fall lower than 2k.

Sorry if someone wrote about it already. Please help.

Hello Minion and welcome to the forum.

Thank you for reporting the problem. I think its because they need food, (and they may starve if you run low on it), but I should check with FlameMaster.

If however its a bug, then it should be fixed in the next version.

yes its a bug...somehow those critters consume food despite a "NO_HUNGRY" parameter. Gotta fix that, but when is a question that maybe the tip of an iceberg.

y not to add goblins there???
and is it possible to add some new magics and their animation or what ever they look like in working.

and some rare magics, very devastating kind of with awsome visuals. and stuf like this.

it is also notice able that the envoirnment is not much disturbed by the magic, though it should be.
like some one can call wave of fire and etc . . . . . . . . . .

Hey atiz, Welcome back, Happy Ramadhan.

- Goblins and Undead don't go so well together (Its because Goblins are Green, Undead is Black). But the mod has other units that were not previously available in the game.

- Yes, indeed, there were many new magic spells added in the mod. About animations, well tough luck. I don't have the model sources, if I did, we could've added some new animations that would've taken the game up a notch.

- Hmmm...I made the visuals for a Meteor shower, Ice blast(novae), Hail. But I never made them into spells tongue .

- Sadly I don't think there is much we can do about it. Probably because its too hard, and its gonna make the game run a bit slow. But there is that "Fracture" spell which does just the same. Maybe an "Abyss" and "Plateau" spell should be included.

Actually have the same problem with the undead, they're a cool bunch tho despite the bug, hopefully there's a fix for it smile

The bug has been fixed, but unfortunately I cannot find time to post it...Should get it online soon. smile .

All right, six years have passed and the bug is still very much alive. It honestly makes the Undead faction unplayable. Where's the mentioned fix?
